We are located in the village of Corsley, surrounded by the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and central to the nearby towns of Warminster, Westbury, and Frome. We have provided care and education for children for over 20 years.
Our Pre-School has excellent facilities and vast, outstanding outside spaces that allow children fantastic opportunities to play and explore, sparking their imagination and curiosity. We pride ourselves on providing a caring, friendly environment enabling all children to learn through play with support from our long service, experienced and enthusiastic team.
We promote individuality, irrespective of ethnicity, attainment, age, disability, gender, or background in an environment in which all children are safe from abuse. Any suspicion of abuse is promptly and appropriately dealt with.
We achieved our ‘OUTSTANDING’ rating from OFSTED in February 2023 and continue to strive to provide high-quality care.
We work closely with Parents and Carers to ensure that every child has the best experience. We recognise that they are the first and most important educators.
Having been at another pre-school before attending Little Cuckoos, it is clear to me that Cuckoos is a wonderful setting for children. Supportive, happy, and welcoming; what more could a child or parent ask for?” Parent Questionnaire 2019

As a registered charity, Little Cuckoos Pre-School is run by an elected committee, which ensures that major decision-making is in the hands of the parents who use the group.
The committee is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff.
Our Annual General Meeting, at which the committee for the following year is elected, is held in the autumn term.
The Pre-School cannot function without the Committee in place. For this reason, we rely upon our parents, carers, grandparents, and any other interested parties to volunteer their time and skills to help run the Pre-School.
If you like to get involved in the running of the Pre-School or help out at our fundraising events, then please do come along to our next committee meeting!
In order to comply with Ofsted regulations, and to ensure the safeguarding of the children at the Pre-School, all committee members are required to complete an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check and register their role with Ofsted via the EY2 form.
